It all started in 1998 with the reading of an article in the property section of the Atlanta Journal-ConstitutionNewspaper, a visit by two Solomon brothers to view the property of interest in Sparta, Georgia, and later a family meeting when the Solomon family agreed to purchase the beautiful 60 acres wooded property in Sparta, Georgia.  In 2000, eight-plus acres of the wooded area were cleared, and a three acres pond was filled and stocked with catfish, brims, and bass fish.  Later that year, two additional acres just 150 yards from the pond were used to build the SolomonFamily getaway home that features ten bedrooms, five full baths, a living room/dining room, two kitchens, a den, a full basement, and covered wrap-around porches that was completed in 2002.  Since then, the Solomon family has developed the property into a beautiful, serene hosting sibling sleepovers, family and friends’ gatherings, holiday events, and much more.  

In 2022, the property received a transfer of title/ownership to Joe and Rose Arnold, the Solomons' grandson/granddaughter-great nephew/niece. A makeover renovation happened, and once finished, the property was properly named Serenity Lodge on the Pond, a 6,000 sq. ft. retreat-venue lodge that sits on 60 acres, making sure to maintain the Serene of the property; the makeover consisted of no new constructions but beautifying the inside and outside of the property for retreats and venue purposes. The natural location of Serenity Lodge is one that takes you away from the daily hustle and bustle of life and back to nature's finest to ensure your getaway is the one that makes the greatest impression and lasts well after you leave the lodge and return home.
